For my genre shift trailer, I started out with the idea of doing something with Good Will Hunting, but I didn't love the way it turned out so instead I decided to turn Finding Nemo into a thriller. To do this, I went onto YouTube and watches a bunch of different clips from the movie to see what would work. I knew I wanted to do a thriller movie, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to use for it. I thought back to Disney movies that I watched when I was younger and picked one that personally scared me and thought back to all of the scenes I didn't like to watch. I put these scenes in with eerie music. After this I added in sound effects of the sharks biting and of Darla tapping on the glass, matching it up with the perspective of the fish feeling the tapping from in the tank.  For the opening I used  the dramatic title that goes slowly word by word to add tension. Overall I really liked this assignment and learned a lot more about editing by asking questions and making mistakes.
